Birthplace: Henderson, Iowa Resided In: Los Angeles, California Kermit J. Morgan, age 96, of Los Angeles, California, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2010 at his home. Kermit Johnson Morgan was born on a farm between Red Oak and Henderson, Iowa the son of Samuel and Amelia Morgan. He attended Red Oak Schools and graduated in the class of 1931. He attended the University of Iowa where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega and Phi Delta Phi Fraternities and graduated in 1935. He then attended University of Southern California law school, JD 1937. Kermit practiced law in California for over seventy years. Survivors include his daughter: Georgina "Genie"; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ with Rev. Elizabeth Dilley officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
