Kasen Saige Monreal, age 7 months, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023, at Children's Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. Kasen was born August 4, 2022, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the son of Adriana Monreal and Dyllan Hansen.

Survivors include his parents: Adriana Monreal and Dyllan Hansen of Red Oak; sisters: Aurora Hansen and Pheonyxx Farmer; grandparents: Luke and Heather Hansen of Red Oak; Joanie Shoemaker of Red Oak; Jose Martinez of Omaha, NE; and Tasha Selby of Council Bluffs, IA; great grandparents: Joyce Shoemaker of Shenandoah, IA; Bill and Brenda Selby of Shenandoah, IA; and Tim and Kathy Hansen of Clarinda, IA; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, April 14, 2023, at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
