Birthplace: Tabor, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Judith K. Huffman, age 70, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Monday, September 19, 2011 at the Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Judith Kay Huffman was born December 2, 1940 in Tabor, Iowa the daughter of James and Mildred (Johnson) Huffman. She has been a resident of Red Oak for many years. Judy became a resident of Nishna Productions in 1985. She enjoyed attending Nishna Productions Dayhab where she loved everyone. Judy loved putting together puzzles, doing crafts, playing the Wii, singing, listening to music, and watching birds. She was also a long time member of the Church of the Nazarene. Preceding her in death were her parents; her sisters: Joan Houtchens and Detta Meggison; infant brothers: Wilbur Huffman and Ray Huffman; and nephews: Michael Holland and Ron Lidgett. Survivors include her nieces: Kathy Carpenter of Omaha, Nebraska; Denise Fish and husband Kevin of Red Oak, Iowa; and Reva Potter and husband Frank of Nashua, New Hampshire; brother-in-law: Max Meggison of Red Oak, Iowa; many great nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 2 PM Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel with Pastor Len Taylor officiating. Burial of the cremated remains will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 7-8 PM Monday, September 26, 2011 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Nelson-Boyaln-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
