Birthplace: Diagonal, Iowa Resided In: Stanton, Iowa Josephine Dolecheck Gray, age 76, of Stanton, Iowa passed away Sunday, August 27, 2006 at the Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Josephine Ann Dolecheck Gray was born May 6, 1930 in Diagonal, Iowa the daughter of Paul and Fern (Roudybush) Dolecheck. She attended school in Diagonal and was later united in marriage to William "Bill" Gray on June 25, 1947 in Troy, Kansas. They farmed for many years in the southwest Iowa area moving to Stanton in the 1950's. They started their own trucking business in 1966. Bill preceded Josephine in death on November 22, 2004. Also preceding her in death were her parents; three sisters-in-law: Marguerite Kehr; Marilyn Gray; and Ruth Perrin; three brothers-in-law: Dallas Perrin; Paul C. Gray; and Jack Gray; son-in-law: Dan Forkner; two nephews: Edwin Powell and Robert Gray; and a niece: Clara Perrin; Survivors include her son: Paul Gray of Stanton, Iowa; daughter: Patricia Forkner of Des Moines, Iowa; grandchildren: Lynette Gray of Stanton, Iowa; Leann Flucky and husband Steve of Stanton, Iowa; Loren Gray of Kansas City, Missouri; Lathan Gray of Villisca, Iowa; Danielle Forkner of Des Moines, Iowa; Angela Forkner of Des Moines, Iowa; and Adam Forkner of Russell, Iowa; many great and great great grandchildren; sister: Pauline Crussell and husband Clemmeth of Clarinda, Iowa; brother: Duane Dolecheck and wife Eula of Creston, Iowa; sisters-in-law: Joann Gray of Villisca, Iowa; and Carolyn Gray of Prescott, Iowa; brothers-in-law: David Kehr of Rifle, Colorado; and Jim Gray of Prescott, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel with Rev. Alan Dean officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery near Villisca, Iowa. Visitation with the family will be held from 7-8 PM Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
