Birthplace: Red Oak, IA Resided In: Red Oak, IA Jerry Dee Shaver, age 52, of Red Oak, Iowa passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Jerry was born April 12, 1965 in Red Oak, Iowa the son of Richard and Juanita (Helton) Shaver. He lived all of his life in Red Oak, Iowa. Jerry was united in marriage to Judy Archer on June 22, 2000 in Red Oak, Iowa. Jerry's hobbies included working on cars and lawn mowers, fishing and hunting, Racing and NASCAR, and spending time with his brother. Preceding him in death were his parents and brothers: Terry and Rick. Survivors include his wife: Judy Shaver of Red Oak; step-children: Amanda Crow and Andrew Slemp of Texas; grandchildren: Preston Crow, Gabriel Crow, Caden Crow, and Lydia Barse; siblings: Chris Norris and husband Mike, Patsy Williams, Tammy Cerven, Wendi Latus and husband Rob, and Tim Shaver all of Red Oak; many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law: Sharon Hendrickson and husband Jim of Shenandoah, IA and Linda Brown and husband Glenn of Klamath Falls, OR; brother-in-law: Randy Archer of Shenandoah, IA; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6-8 PM Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the family. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
