Birthplace: Villisca, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Jeanne Johnson, age 69, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Jeanne was born August 7, 1948 in Villisca, Iowa the daughter of Donald and Betty (Pettengill) Bryson. She graduated from Griswold High School in 1966 and attended Beauty School in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Jeanne was a hairdresser for 49 years operating Jeannez Hair Team for many years. Preceding her in death were her parents. Survivors include her husband of thirty years: Howard Johnson of Red Oak; daughter: Robin Culbertson and husband Scott of Stanton, IA; granddaughters: Carlee and Olivia Culbertson of Stanton; step-son: KC Johnson of Minnesota; step-grandchildren: Carson and Peyton Johnson of Minnesota; brother: Robert Bryson and wife Janet of Clarinda, IA; niece: Abbey Heimensen and husband Collin of Clearwater Beach, FL; and many other relatives and many friends. A memorial visitation will be held from 3-7 PM Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Griswold, Iowa Community Building. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with cremation services.
