James Edward "Jim" Wiese, age 63, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024, at his home. Jim was born March 8, 1961, in Emmetsburg, Iowa, the son of Ronald and Sharon (Lee) Wiese. He grew up and attended school in Red Oak. After high school, Jim worked at several different places throughout the year including the Hog Farm, Asplundh Tree Trimming, and Red Oak Greenhouse. He loved nature and was a true outdoorsman. He was united in marriage to Tricia Welsch in 1981 in Red Oak, Iowa. Three children were born to this union: Scott, Bradley, and Brian.

Preceding him in death was his father, Ron Wiese. Survivors include his children: Scott Wiese of Shenandoah, IA; Bradley Wiese and wife Danielle of Elkhorn, NE; and Brian Wiese of Omaha, NE; grandson: Kyler Wiese of Elkhorn, NE and another one on the way; mother: Sharon Wiese of Orange Beach, AL; brothers: Steve Wiese of Shenandoah, IA and Jeff Wiese and wife Sharon of Orange Beach, AL; and many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
