Birthplace: Earlham, Iowa Resided In: Elliott, Iowa Gary Clifford Woods, age 82, of Elliott, Iowa, passed away Friday, November 13, 2020, at the Good Samaritan Society in Red Oak, Iowa. Gary was born August 16, 1938 in Earlham, Iowa, the son of Clifford and Miriam (Botts) Woods. The family moved to Washington State when Gary was 6 years old, then Missouri and back to Elliott, Iowa where he graduated high school. He worked at S & M Oil for three years before moving to Cheyenne, Wyoming. He worked for Montgomery Ward and J.C. Penney Co. until 1965 when he started working for Black and Decker as a sales agent. He moved back to Elliott, Iowa in 1985 and retired from Black and Decker in 1995 as National Sales Manager. Gary was a member of the Elliott Church of Christ. Preceding him in death were his parents and his step-father: Shook Milner. Survivors include his daughter: Leslie Liberato of Elliott, IA; sons: Gary Woods, Jr. and wife Jacqui of Camas, WA and James Hiram Woods of Camas, WA; grandchildren: Diana, Alex, and Jennifer Liberato and Kelsey, Anna, and Maya Woods; great grandchildren: Idris, Aiden, and River; and other relatives and friends. There will be no services at this time. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
