Birthplace: Maryville, MO Resided In: Red OaK, IA Frieda Marie Lawson, age 54, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the Garden View Care Center in Shenandoah, Iowa. Frieda was born December 19, 1963 in Maryville, Missouri the daughter of Mack and Wynonia (Edwards) Ellison. Frieda has been a homemaker living in Red Oak for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, taking car rides, going to stock car races, and spending time with her family. Preceding her in death were her mother: Wynonia Gammell and her brother: Clifford Ellison. Survivors include her children: Doris Ellis and Steve Roby of Red Oak, Iowa and John Edward Glen Lawson; five grandchildren; father: Mack Ellison of Trenton, MO; siblings: Jay Ellison of Red Oak, IA; Wendy Van of Red Oak, IA; and Patty Perry of Essex, IA; and many other relatives and friends. A celebration of life service will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
