Fred Albert Brockman, age 81, of Macedonia, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the Glen Haven Village in Glenwood, Iowa. Fred was born September 30, 1943, in Oketo, Kansas, the son of Frank and Catherine (Latus) Brockman. He graduated from Oakland High School in Oakland, Iowa, and served in the United States Army. He lived most of his adult life in Macedonia, Iowa. He worked for Oakland Beef Packing for many years and worked in construction. His hobbies included fishing, playing cards, going to flea markets and the casino, collecting John Deere memorabilia, and was an avid Oklahoma Sooner fan.

Preceding him in death were his parents; siblings: Francis, Leo, Lorenz, and Abe Brockman; and sister: Carol Munger. Survivors include his children: Sandy Frink of Emerson, Iowa and Brian Brockman and wife Dawn of Carson, Iowa; grandchildren: Daltynn Haskins and husband Alex of Omaha, Nebraska; and Stephanie Errthum and husband Austin of Des Moines, Iowa; sisters: Theresa Burrington and husband Roger of Emerson, Iowa; Marie Griffee of Beattie, Kansas; and Betty Wolfgang formerly of Hancock, Iowa; special friend: Cheryl Workman of Atlantic, Iowa; and other relative and many friends.

A celebration of life visitation will be held from 11 AM – 2 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Carson Community Center in Carson, Iowa.
