Donna Jean (Terry) Jenkins passed from this life and into the waiting arms of Jesus on January 24, 2025, at the age of 96. She was born on December 20, 1928, in Bedford IA, the daughter of Phillip and Edythe Terry of Bedford. Donna worked at the Union Carbide Battery Plant for over 30 years. She also worked part time as a beautician.

Donna was a member of the First Baptist Church in Red Oak. She enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, painting, performing square dances, cooking family dinners and baking. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ralph; parents; siblings: Annette, Barbara, Phyllis, Doyle and Ronnie; many nieces and nephews and other relatives as well.

Survivors include her sons: Craig and wife Susie of Bakersfield, CA and Scott and wife Ann of Red Oak; daughters: Chris Jenkins of Bellevue, NE; Cathy Drake of Red Oak; and Debbie Cunningham and husband Glen of Monroe, IA; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild due in August; and other relatives and many friends.

A celebration of life visitation will be held from 4-6 PM on Friday January 31, 2025, at the LeRette Funeral Chapel, 1995 G. Ave., Red Oak, Iowa. Memorials are suggested to the Red Oak Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association.
