Deloris Geist, age 95, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Good Samaritan Society in Red Oak, Iowa. Deloris was born August 26, 1929, in Page County, Iowa, The daughter of Arnold and Vina (Isaacson) Sederburg. She attended Pittsburg School and graduated from Red Oak High School in 1947. After graduation, Deloris worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. On June 2, 1950, Deloris was united in marriage to Gene Geist. In the following years, Deloris raised her children: Gary and Connie and worked at the Geist Furniture and Carpet Store. She was a member of the Red Oak Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday School for several years and served one term as an elder. And had an honorary life membership in the Presbyterian Women's Organization.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband Gene on September 27, 2015; and brother: Curtis Sederburg. She is survived by her children: Gary Geist of Maryville, Missouri and Connie Bishop and Marvin Perry of Red Oak, Iowa; grandchildren: Greg Geist of Bellevue, Nebraska and Scott Geist of Norwalk, Iowa; Brad Bishop and wife Johanna of Ft. Collins, Colorado and Tina Bishop and fiancé Chris Ames of Bennington, Nebraska; great grandchildren:  Kayla, Rylan, and Brynn; brother: Darwin Sederburg and wife Joyce of Ft. Myers, Florida; sister: Dorothy Gell of Council Bluffs, Iowa; sister-in-law: Mary Sederburg of Overland Park, Kansas and other relatives and many friends.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
