Daniel Joseph Rensch, Jr., age 51, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023, unexpectedly at his home. Daniel was born August 16, 1971 in Red Oak, Iowa, the son of Daniel and Sharon (Miller) Rensch. He was raised and lived most of his life in Red Oak, Iowa. Daniel graduated from Red Oak Community High School in 1989 and worked as a mechanic and welder for many years. He worked for many years at Brown Bear in Corning then American Hydraulics in Red Oak and most recently back at Brown Bear. His hobbies included putting together model cars, listening to music, and being outdoors. His greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren: Cohen and Lennon.

Survivors include his significant other: Carrie Clark of Red Oak, IA; daughters: Alexa Mackey and husband Nathan of Red Oak, IA and Karley Rensch of Red Oak, IA; grandchildren: Cohen and Lennon Mackey of Red Oak, IA; mother: Sharon Rensch of Red Oak, IA; father: Daniel Rensch and wife Mary Ann of State Center, IA; sister: Kristina Skalberg and husband Bryan of Omaha, NE; step-sister: Natisha Snay of Huron, SD; step-brother: Jeremy Burnett of State Center, IA; grandmother: Georgia Rensch of Red Oak, IA; and many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Friday, May 26, 2023, at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the family.
