Birthplace: Clarinda, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Marvin Craig Otte, age 70, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away July 26, 2021, in Shenandoah, Iowa. Craig was born January 16, 1951 in Clarinda, Iowa, the son of Lyman and Betty (Grape) Otte. He was known as Craig by everyone that knew and loved him. Craig attended school in Sidney and Hamburg before moving to Red Oak with his family in 1966. He spent many hours on the baseball and football fields as he was a wonderful athlete. Craig graduated as a Red Oak Tiger in 1969. In 1970, his daughter, Angela Robin, was born. Craig's pride and joy was working with his hands, painting, dry walling, and using other skils that allowed him to be precise. He lived in Kansas, Arizona, and Colorado, but loved his home and friends in Hamburg and Red Oak. He spent a lot of time with family and friends, laughing, listening to music, and watching old TV shows. His favorites were Bonanza, Gunsmoke, and The Rifleman. Craig will be missed for his humor and his smile. Preceding him in death were his parents and an infant son, Richard Duane.
