Birthplace: Shenandoah, IA Resided In: Villisca, IA Craig Alan McCall, age 56, of Villisca, Iowa, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. Craig was born February 2, 1963, in Shenandoah, Iowa, the son of Victor and Sharon (Beck) McCall. He was raised in Mills County near Hastings, Iowa, and graduated from Nishna Valley High School in the class of 1981. He attended trade school studying heating and cooling. He worked for a while in the oil fields in Louisiana before moving back to Iowa. He lived in Red Oak and Villisca for many years. He was united in marriage to Sherry Frink and one daughter was born to this union: Dawn. He later was united in marriage to Lisa Lamm. Over the years he farmed and worked for Eveready, TRACO, and FRESCO. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, geology and studying rocks, and his beloved dog, "Baby Girl", a 3 year old Husky. Survivors include his son: Mitch McCall of Omaha, NE; daughter: Megan McCall of Villisca, IA; parents: Victor and Sharon McCall of Red Oak, IA; brother: Kevin McCall and wife Beth of Ames, IA; sister: Kelly Darnell and husband Brent of Chesterfield, MO; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. A memorial visitation will be held from 2-4 PM Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Memorials are suggested to the family. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
