Charlotte Werth, 83, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Charlotte was raised in Creston, Iowa and spent most of her adult life in Red Oak.
Charlotte was very active in the community serving on the school board and heading up the children's food program in southwestern Iowa. She was also the co-founder of Sunshine and Rainbows Childcare Center. Charlotte was instrumental in raising thousands of dollars for local charities in Iowa and Nebraska.
She is survived by her spouse of 30-years, Jo Knott, sons, John and Robert Werth, 3 daughters-in-laws, 2 granddaughters and 1 great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
A celebration of life will be held for Charlotte Werth at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds Gold building, Red Oak, IA from 11am – 3pm on Monday, May 27, 2024. The family invites you to help celebrate the life of Charlotte, a life that was lived to the fullest.
