Carol Ann Seaman, age 80, of Red Oak, Iowa, formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023, at her home. Carol was born November 23, 1942, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Harry and Ann (Silay) Duffy. She grew up in Pittsburgh where she graduated from Mount Assisi Academy. She received her teaching credentials from Edinboro State College. Carol was united in marriage to John William "Jack" Seaman on May 24, 1964 and two children were born to this union: Tiffany and Sloan. Carol taught for many years retiring in 1997. She enjoyed quilting, traveling, listening to music, dancing, and spending time socializing.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, Jack on July 26, 2001. Survivors include her daughter, Tiffany Powell of Red Oak, Iowa; son, Sloan Seaman and wife Haebin of Seoul, Korea; sister-in-law: Francell Kline of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and brother-in-law: Donald Seaman of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
