Birthplace: Stuart, Florida Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Carmitta E. Wolf, age 86, of Red Oak, Iowa passed away, Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Care Center. Carmitta Ines Elvira Wolf was born February 23, 1925 in Stuart, Florida the daughter of Richard Lee and Margaret Viola (Abbott) Fulton. Carmitta was raised in Kansas and was united in marriage to Corporal James Raymond Davis in June of 1941. Two children were born to this union: Richard Raymond and Karen Ann. Carmitta was later united in marriage to Kenneth V. Wolf, Sr. and to this union a son was born: Kenneth V. Wolf, Jr. Carmitta lived in many different places throughout the country but spent the longest period of time in Red Oak, Iowa. She was a homemaker and ran second hand stores in Red Oak. She was an avid animal lover, especially her cats, and enjoyed fishing, music, dancing, crocheting, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Carmitta was also a former Red Oak Eagles member. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband: Kenneth V. Wolf, Sr.; children: Karen Ann Davis and Kenneth V. Wolf, Jr.; siblings: Willis Pauline Lund; Juanita Freeman; Richard Fulton; Carl Fulton; and Margaret Deloris Fulton; and great granddaughter: Abby Elizabeth Reeve. Survivors include her son: Richard Davis and wife Linda (Baucom) of Knoxville, Iowa; granddaughters: Barb (Davis) Haigwood and husband Mike of Aquasco, Maryland and Dee (Davis) Reeve and husband Scott of Prairie City, Iowa; great grandchildren: Lee Haigwood, Aleesha Haigwood, Kayla Reeve, Brandon Reeve, and Richard "Ricky" Reeve; sister-in-law: Deloris Fulton of Clay Center, Kansas and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Graveside funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Caryn Pederson officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association for Research, Good Samaritan Care Center, or Iowa Hospice. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
