Brenda Lea Ingersoll, age 65, passed away on April 11, 2025, in her home in Mesa, Arizona. Brenda was born on December 31, 1959, at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak, Iowa to Tom and Phyllis (Anderson) Shapcott. She graduated from Villisca High School in 1978 and then attended Stewarts School of Beauty in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She worked for Casey's General Stores in Iowa and Missouri as well as Bank Iowa in Villisca, Iowa. Brenda married Bill Ingersoll on November 1, 1996. In May 2020 they moved to Mesa, Arizona. She enjoyed cribbage, ping pong, bocce ball, and spending time with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Bill; son, Skylar (Kelly) Winterstein of Elk Mound, Wisconsin; stepdaughter, Beth Frettim of Madrid, Iowa; stepson, Ben (Mel) Ingersoll of Villisca, Iowa, and grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
