Bonnie Mae Williams, age 95, of Red Oak, Iowa, formerly of Silver City, Iowa, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Bonnie was born May 31, 1927, in Waveland Township of Pottawattamie County, Iowa, near Elliott, the daughter of Glen and Edith (Johnson) Talbott. She graduated from Elliott High School in 1944. She worked many years at Union Carbide Battery Company until she met the love of her life, Darrell Williams. They were married May 6, 1962, in Red Oak, Iowa and made their home on the family farm near Silver City, Iowa. Bonnie was a homemaker and worked with Darrell on the farm raising their family. They moved to Red Oak in 2009. Bonnie loved spending time with her grandkids and working crossword puzzles and word searches.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband: Darrell Williams on July 6, 2015; and her brother: John Talbott. Survivors include her daughter: Vicki Williams and husband Phil Allen of Griswold, IA; son: Bill Williams and wife Sandy of Red Oak, IA; grandchildren: Daniel Williams, Kimberly Williams, Michael Williams and significant other Morgan Green, and Matthew Williams and significant other Leah Jenkins all of Red Oak, IA; Ashley Klindt and husband Erik of Griswold, IA; Annie Peterson and husband Craig of Crescent, IA; and Austin Lorenz of Griswold, IA; great grandchildren: Addisyn and Kolbe Klindt of Griswold, IA; Dakota, Dalan, and Dawson Peterson of Crescent, IA; Neveah and Jayven Williams of Villisca, IA; and Haylenn, Kennedi, and Madalan Williams of Red Oak, IA; sisters-in-law: Wanda Williams of Henderson, IA and Marno Talbott of Roswell, NM; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 10 AM Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Silver City Cemetery at Silver City, Iowa. Visitation with the family will be held from 5-7 PM Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the family.
