Bonnie Hayes, age 75, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Monday, December 29, 2025, at the Accura Healthcare in Onawa, Iowa. Bonnie was born October 28, 1950. She was raised near Pisgah, Iowa. Bonnie was united in marriage to Robert Coddington Sr. and later Marvin Sorensen. The family lived in Stanton, Iowa for many years before moving to Red Oak. Bonnie was united in marriage to Marvin Hayes on June 26, 1993, in Red Oak. They loved the company of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bonnie was a longtime member of the Red Oak Eagles Lodge and enjoyed reading in her leisure time.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband: Marvin; and son: Robert Coddington. Survivors include her children: Terry Coddington of Onawa, IA; and Tammy Ronfeldt of Red Oak, IA; grandchildren: Hannah Sederburg, Daize Pontow, Ben Coddington, Cody Coddington, Dana Coddington, Zackery Coddington, Steven Ronfeldt, Tyler Coddington, Teanna Coddington, and Zoey Ronfeldt; 8 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service for Bonnie and her son Robert Coddington who preceded her in death will be held at 1 PM Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Red Oak Eagles Lodge with visitation and luncheon with the family to follow until 5 PM.
