Bobby H. Orr, age 79, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Bobby was born January 20, 1947, in Iowa city, Iowa, the son of Harvey and Elsie (Penry) Orr. After completing high school at Red Oak Community Schools, Bobby entered the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Upon his return from his military service, Bobby was united in marriage to Barbara Joynes in 1972 and two children were born to this union: Ted and Becky. Through the years, Bobby worked for his dad driving a truck, roofing for Bill Milgrove, many years at D & L, Batten Sanitation, and retired from Red Oak Greenhouse. This gave him time to enjoy many hours of fishing.

Preceding him in death were his parents and brother: Albert Orr.

Survivors include his children: Ted Orr and wife Megan) of Evergreen, CO and Becky King and husband Michael of Red Oak, IA; 3 grandchildren: Elizabeth Dumler and Alice Duckett of Council Bluffs, IA and Emory Rose Orr of Evergreen, CO; brothers and sisters: Duane Orr of Red Oak, IA; Susie Orr Mahoney and husband Shawn of Emerson, IA; and Betty Orr, Jeff Orr, and Gary Orr all of Red Oak, IA; and many other relatives and friends.

A private graveside celebration of life will be held at Quincy Cemetery in rural Adams County, Iowa.
