Bobbie Jo Bruce, age 41, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Bobbie was born January 30, 1982, in Red Oak, Iowa, the daughter of Bob and Georgia (Vanderhoof) Bruce. She was raised and lived most of her life in Red Oak, Iowa. Her greatest joy came from her kids.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her mother: Georgia Bruce and sister: Barbara Wilson. Survivors include her father: Bob Bruce of Red Oak, IA; children: Kammie Bruce, Emily Pierce, Karter Archer, Kyson Sickels, Kayden Sickels, and Kooper Sickels all of Red Oak, IA; brothers: Allen Hale and wife Saundra of Red Oak, IA and Brian Hale and wife Carey of Red Oak, IA; uncles and aunts: Gary Bruce and wife Lynnette of Red Oak, IA; Dennis Vanderhoof of Red Oak, IA; Jeff Vanderhoof and wife Amy of Villisca, IA; and Karla Bentson of Ames, Nebraska; and many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the Pool Hall in Red Oak starting at 2 PM.
