Birthplace: Emerson, IA Resided In: Emerson, IA Blaine L. "Bud" Schick, age 81, of Emerson, Iowa, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018 at his home in Emerson. Blaine was born October 2, 1936 near Emerson, Iowa and graduated from Wales Lincoln High School. He lived in the Emerson area his entire life and was a carpenter by trade. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. Preceding him in death were his parents and sister: Bernice Baucom. Survivors include his sister: Delores Ackerman of Council Bluffs, IA; brother: William Kent Schick and wife Evelyn of Red Oak, IA; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. There will be no services at this time. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
