Birthplace: Lewis, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Beverly M. Kuester, age 80, of Red Oak, Iowa passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. Beverly M. Kuester was born December 24, 1931 in Lewis, Iowa the daughter of Herschel Adelbert and Gladys Nellie (Spiker) Nelson. She was raised in the Griswold area graduating from Griswold High School in 1950. In 1951 Beverly was united in marriage to William Kuester. Beverly lived all of her adult life in Red Oak where she worked as a waitress for many different restaurants including Red Oak Cafe, Moore's Donut Shop, Gold Crown Inn, Maid Rite, and JD Cafe. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers: Wendell and Kenneth Nelson. Survivors include her children: Carla Galas, Colleen Espejo, and Doug Kuester all of Omaha, Nebraska; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister: Norma Schoening of Emerson, Iowa: and many other relatives and friends. Graveside memorial services will be held 1 PM Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Pleasant Township Cemetery near Griswold, Iowa. Memorials are suggested to the family. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
