Beverly Ann Hubbard, age 82, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Beverly was born May 8, 1942, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the daughter of Dale and Marguerite (Dodson) Miller. She graduated from Wales-Lincoln High School in 1960. Beverly was united in marriage to Vernon Porter in 1960 and 5 children were born to this union: Jeffrey, Andrea, Cynthia, Gregory, and Wendy. They lived in Omaha for several years, then New York from 1967-1974, before moving to California. Her career was in accounting working for H & R Block, Norbest Turkey for 8 years, and Dole Foods for 17 years. She was united in marriage to Lowell Hubbard in 1986 and he preceded her in death in 1993. Beverly loved spending time with family, traveling, fishing, and crocheting. She was involved in a variety of activities for the children as they grew up including Girl Scouts, sports, and church choir. She also loved watching football.

Survivors include her children: Jeffrey Porter and wife Lori of Missouri; Andrea Fuchs and husband Lonnie of Missouri; Cynthia Porter of Red Oak; Gregory Porter and wife Dawn of Clovis, California; and Wendy Starr and husband Tom of Clovis, California; 19 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters: Barbara Cary of Bellevue, Nebraska and Nancy Pearson of Des Moines, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at a later date in Clovis, California. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
