Birthplace: Bloomfield, Iowa Resided In: Stanton, Iowa Beulah Brammer, age 94, of Stanton, Iowa passed away Thursday, August 16, 2001 at the Mercy Care Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Beulah Leona Brammer was born April 25, 1907 in Bloomfield, Iowa the daughter of Jhilson and Nancy Jane Collier. She was united in marriage to Elmer Brammer on August 26, 1926 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. They began their married life living in Silver City, Iowa. Some of the places they lived over the years were Malvern, Glenwood, Emerson, Carson, Wales, Stanton, Canon City, Colorado, and back to Stanton. Beulah was a homemaker and was a member of the Mamrelund Lutheran Church as well as the Stanton Garden Club and the Senior Citizens. Beulah was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Elmer Brammer on April 24, 1993; daughter: Marcia Jean; 2 grandchildren: Sherie Wistrom; and Ronald Burnison; and all of her brothers and sisters and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Survivors include her 2 sons: Stanley Brammer and his wife Mary Lou of Woodbine, Iowa; and Elmer D. Brammer and his wife Kay of Killeen, Texas; 8 daughters: Betty Neighbors of Milton-Freewater, Oregon; Shirley Durham of Azle, Texas; Leona Shrake and her husband J.R. of Leon, Iowa; Charlotte McClain and her husband Howard of Penrose, Colorado; Beverly Goodemote and her husband Gary of Stanton, Iowa; Bonnie Christensen of Elkhorn, Nebraska; Sandra Viner and her husband Gordon of Elkhorn, Nebraska; and Cheryl Helle of Red Oak, Iowa; 35 grandchildren; 65 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday, August 20, 2001 at the Mamrelund Lutheran Church in Stanton, Iowa with the Rev. Dr Eric Kutzli and Rev. John Eilers officiating. Burial will be in the Silver City, Iowa Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7-8 PM Sunday, August 19, 2001 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak. Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
