Birthplace: Missouri Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Beth Nadine Wilson, age 78, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Griswold Care Center in Griswold, Iowa. Beth was born July 24, 1943 in Missouri, the daughter of Clifford William and Bernice Hendrix. In 1961, Beth was united in marriage to Eldon Wilson in Villisca, Iowa, where they made their home. They later moved to Des Moines, Iowa where they lived for a couple of years. Beth moved to Council Bluffs and eventually back to Red Oak, Iowa in 1973. Over the years, Beth worked at Thos. D. Murphy Co., Union Carbide, the Learning Resource Center, Iowa Western Community College in the Culinary Arts Program, was a truck driver, and most recently worked for Iowa Department of Human Services helping seniors find employment. She was a long time member of the Red Oak Eagles Lodge. She enjoyed doing crafts, reading, and feeding the squirrels and birds. Beth loved her family dearly and also loved Tammy's dog "Taffy". Preceding her in death were her parents; brother: Martin Hendrix; sister: Ruth Marker and her husband Harry; and nephew: Harold Marker. Survivors include her children: Tammy Lathrop of Red Oak, IA; Allen Wilson of Red Oak, IA; and Bonnie Gibson and husband Chuck of Des Moines, IA; grandchildren: Chris Lathrop of Clarinda, IA; AJ Lathrop and wife Emileah of Red Oak, IA; Felicia Carpenter and husband Dustin of Des Moines, IA; and Seth Gibson of Des Moines, IA; great grandchildren: Natalie and Brynlee Lathrop; and Kane, Jett, and Rory Carpenter; siblings: Peggy Barnt of Nebraska; Billy Hendrix and wife Leona of Nebraska; Darrell Hendrix of Nebraska; and Lila Sue Wilkinson and husband Dennis of California; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside Memorial services will be held 2 PM Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Arlington Cemetery near Villisca, Iowa. Memorials are suggested to the Red Oak Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel I sin charge of arrangements.
