Birthplace: Rural Glenwood, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Bedah A. Huff, age 94, of Red Oak, Iowa passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the Stanton Care Center. Bedah Anna Huff was born July 9, 1918 near Glenwood, Iowa the daughter of Ruben and Pearl (McCluskey) Stille. She grew up on a farm near Silver City, Iowa one of nine children. She graduated from Silver City High School in 1936. Bedah worked at various things, 12 years at Connors Department Store in Red Oak. She was united in marriage to William H. Huff on January 21, 1942. They made their home on a farm near Silver City, Iowa until they moved north of Emerson in 1947. They belonged to the Oaks Community Church where Bedah taught Sunday School. They moved to Red Oak due to Bill's failing health and joined the Faith Community Church being involved in the Mops and Awana programs for kids. Bedah was always very active. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and was a wonderful baker. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband: Bill Huff on June 10, 1982; brothers: Albert, Walter, Ernest, and Lee Stille; and sisters: Leona Henderson, Ila Sieck, Pearl Young, and Betty Hansen. Survivors include her son: Jerry Huff and wife Carol of Emerson, Iowa; daughter: Judy Nikkel and husband Daryl of Wichita, KS; grandchildren: Bryan Huff and wife Lisa of Emerson, IA; Brent Huff of Red Oak, IA; Bruce Huff and wife Misty of Taylorsville, NC; Sheree Nikkel Gerig of Wichita, KS; and Stephanie Harder and husband Scott of Wichita, KS; many great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Monday, December 3, 2012 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel with Pastor David MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in the Emerson, Iowa Cemetery. There will be open visitation at the funeral home on Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 9 AM - 8 PM. Memorials are suggested to the Faith Community Church. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
