Birthplace: Malvern, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Barbara R. Albright, age 64, of Red Oak, Iowa passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at her residence after an extended illness. Barbara Rae "Barb" Albright was born June 5, 1944 in Malvern, Iowa the daughter of Francis Hayes and Gertrude Marie (Madison) Burrington. She was raised in Malvern and Nodaway, Iowa. Over the years she worked at the Egg Plant, she Bartended, worked for the State School as a bookkeeper, J-D Oil Company, a flower shop, and J-D Café before being a full time homemaker. Barb was united in marriage to Donald Albright on October 21, 1979 in Pickering, Missouri. Barb was a member of the Red Oak Eagles Lodge Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Fleet Reserve Association Auxiliary. Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers: Jim and Charles Burrington; sister: Doris Cobb; and two sons: Matthew Lee Hunley and Anthony Dee Hunley. Survivors include her husband Donald Albright of Red Oak, Iowa; children: Diane Starnes and husband Raymond of Grimes, Iowa; Darrell McFarland and wife Dorinda of Port Townsend, Washington; and Patricia Albright of Green Bay, Wisconsin; 11 grandchildren: Jason and wife Tara, Donnie, Jeremy, Elizabeth, Timothy, Chad, Angela, Donna, Diana, Devon, and Cletus III; 6 great grandchildren; two sisters: Nellie Ritter of Murray, Iowa and Dottie L'Heureux of Hastings, Iowa; two brothers: Roger Burrington and wife Theresa of Emerson, Iowa and Tom Burrington and wife Margaret of Ava, Missouri; many nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, July 18, 2008 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel with Pastor Susan Noakes officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6-7 PM Thursday, July 17, 2008 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, the Red Oak Public Library, or the Montgomery County Memorial Court of Honor. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
