Birthplace: Page County, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Anna "Louise" Lassen, age 85, of Red Oak, Iowa passed away Monday, March 28, 2005 at the Good Samaritan Care Center after an extended illness. Anna "Louise" Lassen was born March 6, 1920 in Page County, Iowa the daughter of Paul and Lillian (Oakleaf) Falk. She was united in marriage to Otto Claus Lassen on February 24, 1942 in Maryville, Missouri. They lived all of their married life in Montgomery County, Iowa where Otto farmed and worked for the Montgomery County Roads Department. Louise was a homemaker. Preceding her in death were her parents her husband: Otto Claus Lassen on December 9, 1997; and three brothers: Marvin, Ernest, and Elmer Falk. Survivors include her daughter: Sharon Felt and fiancé Tom Bronk of Red Oak, Iowa; son: Allan Lassen and wife Janet of Council Bluffs, Iowa; granddaughter: Jennifer Boeye and husband Bill of Red Oak, Iowa; great granddaughter Juhianna Boeye of Red Oak, Iowa; three sisters: Dorothy Hall of Essex, Iowa; Lois Kyper of Shenandoah, Iowa; and Lillian Shumard of Omaha, Nebraska; two brothers: Paul Falk, Jr. and wife Fern of Mesa, Arizona; and Kenneth Falk of Shenandoah, Iowa; sister-in-law: Ardis Bangston and husband Howard of Villisca, Iowa; brother-in-law John Harding and wife Janie of Red Oak, Iowa; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held 2 PM Friday, April 1, 2005 at the Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Gary Walters officiating. Family and friends will gather at Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel at 1:30 PM to go to the cemetery in procession. There will be visitation with the family held from 7-8 PM Thursday, March 31, 2005 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Red Oak Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
