Alice Jean Bradway, age 75, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Alice was born September 3, 1947, in Kimball, Nebraska, the daughter of Stephen and Elaine (White) Maurer. The family lived in western Nebraska until 1963 when they moved to Red Oak, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Sherwood Bradway on December 10, 1966 in Red Oak, Iowa. Alice started working in the kitchen at Vista Gardens Care Center and enjoyed helping the residents. She then became a CNA and has been a caregiver all of her life, working in nursing homes and doing in home healthcare. Alice's hobbies included reading, doing puzzle books, and listening to music.

Preceding her in death were her parents. Survivors include her daughters: PJ Bradway of Red Oak, Iowa and Linda Bradway of Red Oak, Iowa; sister: Janet Viles of Red Oak, Iowa; brothers: Joseph Maurer and wife Karen of Yuma, Arizona and Robert Maurer and wife Liz of Dix, Nebraska; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
