Birthplace: Council Bluffs, Iowa Resided In: Griswold, Iowa Zayne Michael Dolph, age 18, of Griswold, Iowa, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the Manning Regional Health Care Center in Manning, Iowa. Zayne was born September 8, 1996 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the son of T.J. Johnson and Jennifer Dolph. He grew up in Red Oak, Villisca, and Griswold. He was a senior at Griswold Community High School where he participated in wrestling and cross country. Zayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, cruising in his car, spending time with his friends, and chasing girls. Preceding him in death were his aunt: Becky Hardy; and great grandparents: Cecil Smith; Fern and Gene Olson; Bernice and Kenneth Bacon; and Ruth and Russell Dolph. Survivors include his mother: Jennifer Alexander and husband Josh of Griswold, IA; father: T.J. Johnson and wife Chris of Fergus Falls, MN; sister: Tatum Dolph of Griswold, IA; brother: Jeg Updike of Griswold, IA; step-sisters: Taylee, Kyrsten, Kimberly, and Abigail Johnson all of Fergus Falls, MN; grandparents: Glen and Carolyn Templeton of Villisca, IA; John and Anita Dolph of Mexico; and Jerry and Pam Johnson of Fergus Falls, MN; aunt: Tammy Luna and husband Kurly of Clarinda, IA; uncles: C.J. Dolph of Villisca, IA; Doug Hardy of Red Oak, IA; Todd Johnson of Fergus Falls, MN; and Travis Johnson and wife Lynn of Fergus Falls, MN; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak, Iowa. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 5-7 PM Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Griswold Community High School Auditorium in Griswold, Iowa. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel of Red Oak, Iowa, is in charge of arrangements.
