Birthplace: Iowa City, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak,Iowa Timothy Jay "Timmy" Lucky, age 57, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021, at the Red Oak Rehab and Care Center. Tim was born January 11, 1964 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Jimmy and Mary (Carson) Lucky. He was raised in Red Oak and worked for RoMech for many years where he retired. Tim enjoyed fishing, hunting, and collecting things of all kinds. He was united in marriage to Janette Johnson on April 11, 1983 in Red Oak, Iowa. Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors include his wife: Janette Lucky of Red Oak, IA; daughters: Heather Schurman and husband Alvin of Boulder, CO and Jennifer Ward and husband Nathan of Red Oak, IA; grandchildren: Christina Lecinski and husband Elijsha of Red Oak, IA; Abby Schurman of Boulder, Co; Jacob Ward of Red Oak, IA; Allie Schurman of Boulder, CO; Jackson Schurman of Boulder, CO; and Ashly Ward of Red Oak; great grandchildren: Octavia and Steven Lecinski; brothers and sisters: John Lucky of Griswold, IA; Mark Lucky of Red Oak, IA; Dana Cisar of Atlantic, IA; David Lucky of Omaha, NE; and Vickie Lucky of Red Oak, IA; sisters-in-law: Holly Webb of Villisca, IA; Angie Clemens and husband Kevin of Red Oak, IA; and Lori Johnson of Red Oak, IA; brothers-in-law: Steve Johnson of Red Oak, IA and Rod Johnson of Red Oak, IA; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Graveside memorial services will be held 11 AM Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel by 10:30 to go to the cemetery in procession. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
