Tanna Hilliard passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak. Tanna Joyce Ann Hilliard was born July 21, 1949 in Austin, Texas, the daughter of Harry and Lilli Mae (Schlueder) West. In 1974, she married Kent Hilliard in Omaha, Nebraska. They lived many places during their marriage until moving to Red Oak in mid 1990's. Tanna worked at the Montgomery County Jail, the Red Oak Express and was a waitress at different restaurants in Red Oak. Tanna is preceeded in death by her parents and a sister, Lonna Jalosky. Tanna is survived by her husband: Kent Hilliard of Red Oak; daughter: Rachel Colabello and husband Mark of Topeka, Kansas and son: Chris Maas of Lincoln, Nebraska; several grandchildren; brother: Glenn Lee Wotipka of Texas and sister: Chris West of Wisconsin. Memorials are suggested to the Montgomery County Animal Rescue or the Disabled American Veterans. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak is assisting the family.
