Birthplace: Red Oak, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Sara Darlene LeRette, age 55, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at her home. Sara was born May 4, 1961 in Red Oak, Iowa the daughter of Willis "Bill" and Darlene (Peterson) Youngberg. She attended school at Red Oak Community Schools with the class of 1979. Living in California for several years, Sara moved back to Red Oak with the help of her brother Tom. Sara was united in marriage to Kent LeRette on July 8th and 9th, 1988, and that's another great story. Sara was then employed at First Data Resources in Omaha, and subsequently at Eveready Battery Company until its closing. Sara and Kent, along with their children Arron, born in 1989, and MaKayla, born in 1997, owned LeRette's Appliance Center for many years. Sara later worked for Dr. James Wyatt, cleaned houses with Missy Bierbaum, and worked for Dr. Michael Portz. She was a faithful wife and mother who had a zest for life and loved people. She enjoyed flower gardening, doing crafts, and maintaining a beautiful home. Sara was preceded in death by her parents and her niece: Tiffanie Gilbert. Survivors include her husband: Kent LeRette; children: Arron LeRette and MaKayla LeRette; brothers: Dennis Youngberg and wife Sharon and Tom Youngberg and friend Margaret Stoldorf of Red Oak, IA; sister: Tereasa Moore and husband Ernie of Rio Rancho, NM; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Richard and Marcia LeRette of Red Oak, Iowa; brothers-in-law: Kevin LeRette and wife Karen of Virginia Beach, VA; Scott LeRette and wife Teresa and Brian LeRette and wife Dawn of Red Oak, IA; nieces and nephews: Trisha Gray and husband Andy of Red Oak, IA; Donell Hattery and husband Ryan of Rio Rancho, NM; Melisa Baier and husband Dr. Fritz of Lyman, IA; Matthew, Jack, and Grace LeRette of Virginia Beach, VA; Austin and Logan LeRette of Red Oak, IA; and Joshua LeRette of Red Oak, IA; great nieces and nephews: Jordon, Dahlas, Raelynn, Kaylyana, Albany, Hannah, Maggie, Paige, Bradley, and Joslynn; and many other relatives and friends including her fur babies: Tasha and Kodi. A celebration of life funeral service will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Faith Community Church with Pastor David MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6-8 PM Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Red Oak Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association or the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital Foundation. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
