Birthplace: Ft. Dodge, Iowa Resided In: Stanton, Iowa Coty A. Davidson, age 15, of Stanton, Iowa passed away Saturday, February 3, 2007 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Coty Allen Davidson was born February 11, 1991 in Ft. Dodge, Iowa the son of Jimmie and Pam (McChesney) Davidson. The family moved to the Stanton Community in 1993. Coty was a sophomore at the Stanton High School where he was involved in Football, Basketball, Baseball, Bowling, FCCLA, and always enjoyed spending time with his friends and his family. Coty never missed a College World Series game and loved to collect baseball cards. He was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Texas Longhorns. Coty was very proud of his 1971 Ford Mustang and was looking forward to getting his license very soon. Coty was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jonathan and Glennis McChesney. Survivors include his parents: Jimmie and Pam Davidson of Stanton, Iowa; sister: Tiffany McChesney of Council Bluffs, Iowa; grandmother: Edna Lantz and husband Steve of Stanton, Iowa; grandfather: Robert Allen Davidson of Austin, Texas; uncles: Jonathan McChesney and wife Nicole of Somers, Iowa; Kim Lee Davidson of Austin, Texas; Timmy Davidson of Austin, Texas; and Davey Davidson of Austin, Texas; many cousins including: Anna, Ellie, Holley, and Makayla; as well as many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Thursday, February 8, 2007 at the Stanton Community High School with Rev. Dr. Eric Kutzli officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 5-8 PM Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at the Mamrelund Lutheran Church in Stanton. Memorials are suggested to the family. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
