Birthplace: Red Oak, Iowa Resided In: Red Oak, Iowa Barbara A. Trumble, age 72, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Barbara was born June 30, 1948 in Red Oak, Iowa, the daughter of William and Margaret (Herrick) McAlpin. She was raised and lived all of her life in Red Oak, Iowa. Barb graduated from Red Oak Community High School. She was united in marriage to Frederick Trumble on June 9, 1973 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Over the years, she worked for Belt Auto Center, JII, and CDS Global before retiring. After retirement, Barb worked for Red Oak Community Schools as a Paraprofessional. Barb loved spending time with her family especially the grandkids. She enjoyed theater, music, books, tending to her flowers, watching birds, and having coffee or tea with her friends. Barbara was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents and sons: Randal Click and Ryan Trumble. Survivors include her husband: Fred Trumble of Red Oak, IA; daughter: Joy Buehler and husband Scott of St. Charles, IL; daughter-in-law: Rhonda Trumble of Red Oak, IA; grandchildren: Macenzi Clark and fiancé Sean Crawford of Council Bluffs, IA; and London, Kennedy, and Liam Buehler of St. Charles, IL; brothers: Randy McAlpin of Colorado and Rod McAlpin and wife Connie of Red Oak, IA; many nieces and nephews including: Destiny, Ryan, Landon, Cody, and Trevor McAlpin; and other relatives and many friends. A celebration of life service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Social distancing and wearing of masks are required. Services will be live streamed on the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel's Facebook Page.
